Yeah top night and all the bands were good. Glad I got down there early to check out Khariot - I was impressed for a first show. A few minor things to tidy up but hopefully that will come with time and experience. Definitely have potential.
During one of the songs I was thinking certain parts of that reminded me of later period Death, and then you did ended up doing a Death cover.

You know what frustrates me?
The Psychonaut posse only seem to have the vaguest idea what they are going to play at their gigs, and the rest of it is like improv. It can be tight as fuck or a complete dog's breakfast, and last night I was sure that they were just jamming whatever came to mind first....yet no matter what they do they never fail to entertain. The reason that frustrates me is that my band's style is driven by mathmatics and there is no way that we could ever free-form like that. Only blues oriented metal offers that sort of freedom and Psychonaut have mastered the art of milking that aspect til its udders bleed, and how much fun would that be?

HAha I just got a mental Image of Jez standing near a black board holding a pointer cane and teaching mathematical problems to the rest of Neverborn. But not really getting anywhere coz the other Neverborn guys are too stoned to pay attention.

def alot of things ive realised to fix up for the next show, personally and bandwise, we have all taken notes from that night and from watching the dvd heheh

Sorry if the images are kinda biased with me in them, they were taken by my mate's girlfriend. I think she was too afraid of getting too close as well, especially with that psycho dude windmilling with no hair.

That dude was pretty cool lol, me and jack talked to him after and he was insanly chilled out compared to how he was a one man moshpit infront of stage.

We asked why he did it and he said he was so angry all the time and loved coming to gigs and jumping round to get the anger out.

Now if only everyone had that attitude insted of standing there looking like stunned mullets.

Had a chat with him myself, and said they he goes off like that as he's never certain when his next gig will be, so he makes the most of it. Yeah, I know we've have a laugh at his antics a bit in the past, but he was pretty cool in person.

hey is that some NAZI dude in the corner of one of the pics? he was standing afew feet away from me and i noticed a german flag on his camo shirt (not saying because of that hes NAZI) but his whole attire was abit subjective and he wasnt realy getting into the songs, more a disgrunteled look and not much movement on his behalf. If hes not and people know him and know hes not then im sorry i was just asking.

Everyone knows Nazis wear the German flag everywhere, because they're oh so proud of modern day Germany.

I mean it's not like they had their own easily identifiable symbol they could have put on a flag.........
