BARONESS were fucking great, as were ISIS though it felt weird to see them in the daylight (and scorching hot sun). I saw Aaron Turner in Java Juice in the morning, but didn't recognize him with his Jesus beard. I remember seeing his tatts on his elbows and thinking "What the fuck is that. A fence tattoo?"
Caught a bit of GLASSJAW, but wasn't really digging it so went and saw CLUTCH who were super cool to see, I regretted wasting half their set in front of GJaw... even though it was under cover.
ANVIL "Hey how the fuck arrre ya Prrrth" were pretty good, but ANTHRAX blew them off the stage. The cover of New Noise was a bit of a surprise!
Spent ages waiting for FAITH NO MORE, and had to sit through Jimmy Eats Dicks to get a good possie, but the 13-year wait was worth it. What a band, they kept you guessing, especially with Patton as "conductor". Would've liked to hear more off Angel Dust\Real Thing, and less of the slow songs from KFAD\AOTY, but overall seeing them and Anthrax was worth the price of admission alone. Will post pics when I get a chance...
