Hey folks,

After two years of stop starts, producers passing away mid recording, partners falling preggers, stints in rehab, unemployment, broken bones, stints in rehab, near death experiences and treatment for drugs and alcohol...

Sins Of The Father are heading into In Depth Sound Studios to record our massively overdue debut album.

The album will have 10-12 electrifying songs and will be produced by Geoff "Hollywood" Eaton (Nexus, Neverborn, Grotesque, Gallows For Grace)

Recording starts September the 1st

A couple of singles are on the drawing board with some goodies that wont be available on the album.

Sins will be taking a few months off gigging (Thank god, theres only so much drugs and booze and women you can cram into a week)

There will be updates on this thread so keep an eye and ear out, we will hopefully have merchandise, a new logo and some live footage out at
the same time as the albums release.

Seventh time lucky eh?

Indeed the tea is fine, we do have enough mugs/cups, they are just scatterd round the house, I usually keep one next to my bed as a spit jar, Dan has one for smashing out a midnight log without havn to leave the bed.

Yes the spare beds are quite comfy, its the layers of bodily fluids from the many species that have eloped on them.

Make sure you put a ~~sheet~~ quilt down next time.

Evening people,

Just a little update to inform you guy's that drum tracks for our upcoming album have been completed and are sounding jungle is massive.

We completed 12 tracks and a few extra's that may pop up over time.

Guitars are to commence in about 2 weeks.

I'll give an update when they are done so keep an eye out.

Evening ladies and germans.

I am glad to bring forth the news that Sins has finished tracking guitars for our debut album.

It was a very long and overdrawn process but we are pretty happy with the results and all the bells and whistles
and buttons and felt that we chucked in has added a very nice touch.

For audiophiles out there we used a MK1 peavey 5150 an Engl Ritchie Blackmore and also a 1978 Marshall of
unknown model. The heads were run through an Engl cab with V30's.

Sins used Schecter and Ibanez guitars and somehow managed to get a baritone ukulele thrown in.

Just a tip for bands who are recording for the first time, don't let the sessions turn into..well sessions.

Next up will be Jack Cressall to record vocals and bass will be last.
