how's this for a list of problems: Trevor's amp died during the first song on stage. Had for find a replacement FAST. Only one down stairs, so that had to do (thanks Simon!). Then his noise gate shat itself taking out his signal a couple songs later.
Ralph's digitech unit was crackling all night, cutting the signal in and out. His amp gave me a boot when i grabbed the speaker cable. Was feeding back all night also...
Franks Ampeg blew a tube, and we couldnt get a spare. Found another Ampeg head quick smart, but it took a half hour to arrive... but the guy brought the wrong one. All was cool, he knew of another, so that arrived one minute before the doors opened... hooked it all up, but couldnt get it to work because his Sans-Amp had a dodgy battery clip, easy fix... once we found it (after Grotesque were ready to start playing). Of course finding that fault, took a lot of troubleshooting, cause Frank wasn't even there to confirm how he wanted his gear setup...
Only three speaker cabs (ordered four) arrive, and one was busted. Got another two at the last minute, but one of those was busted too... Hire company didnt provide enough speaker leads, but we got some at the last minute. They also didnt give us enough plugs for the step down convertors for the mains powered gear the guys brought with them...
