Yes, thanks to the great judges this year including - Deryk Thompson (from Anger Management), Jess Willoughby (from Xpress) and yours truly (
), I think you'll be impressed that the results are decidedly more befitting the HEAVY category.
There wasn't too many of the regular metal bands that entered the comp, but of the ones we had to choose from, these would have been the heavier and more accomplished ones. So hopefully that should encourage more of you bands that thought perhaps from the history of WAM competitions that you might not have had a chance, that things are taking a turn for the better.
Although its a slightly separate thing, everyone should vote on that Perthnow site to make something HEAVY win that addition prize.
