This weekend!
No worries Dazzler...and, hah, spewing Terry.
Anyone planning to head down early on Friday but is still unsure of directions, if you're interested in tagging along in your car, looks like we'll be meeting up at the BP near the Cockburn train station about 1:30pm-2pm and convoying it down the freeway.
I'm not sure of Daz's plans but anyone in the same position, although living closer to Armadale might be able to meet up with him and company somewhere along Albany Hwy/South Western Hwy...? The drive is relatively simple though.
Yeah I was planning on taking the straight way down - Tonkin Hwy, and South West Hwy, but now picking up my mate JIMMMMYYYYY MAAATTEE from wembley so will be taking the freeway down as well. Aim to leave there about 1.30pm or so.
qWADE! Turn ya phone on.. tried calling and went straight to message bank, but it was full so couldn't leave a message.
Anyway, I say we meet up at the Dwellingup pub about 3pm.
Considering the size of the group I'd say the best area for us to go would be Nanga Mill campsite, as it is more open, and there are several campsites / tables / fireplaces near each other.
Here's the map of the campsites, so it should be fairly easy to find, and there are signs along the track pointing you in the right direction.
http://www.dec.wa.gov.au/pdf/tourism/lane-pool_recmap_color.pdfUsually you can go straight down Nanga Rd from the entry station, but sometimes they have that closed off, so you go around the other way and go across Bob's Crossing then down Murray Valley Rd.
They have easy to follow maps at the entry station as well so grab one from there if need be.
