Just noticed this on a band's MySpace page, although didn't see it posted here, and remembered that Rowland's gig is on at The Castle on the same night, hah...anyway, without further ado...

What are the set times? There is also the Pathogen all ages that doesn't finish until 9.30pm.  >:(

Was a good gig, pretty good turnout considering it's freo and there were other gigs on. All the bands sounded great, pitty the gig started late (due to the act before the gig running of an hour later than it was meant to) but all in all, a fun night :D

Yeah, that was a huge bummer, all because the jazz act before the gig ran over an hour over time, pushed everything back  >:(

How do they run an hour over time? i can understand 5 maybe 10 minutes but surely someone would have told them they should have been off by then?

It was the 30th anniversay of the WA Jazz club or something. I'm not to sure, from what I could see this was beyond Drew's (who organised the gig) control and we just had to wait till they finished *shrug*

apologies to Nexus for not getting to play a full set, i didn't realise this as i was running around doing other things. The manager of the railway Nick was pretty pissed that the jazz ran an hour over what it should have and after i told him we needed to get going or we wouldn't fit all the bands on he had a word to them. Other than that it was a good show!

Funnily enough last time I played at The Railway there was a Jazz band playing until 7.45. Bands were told a strict 7.30 load in so when when the jazz band came off there was people and gear everwhere. It was a shambles. Luckily we got a 30 minute set though.
