Paradise Lost with Sirenia "Aus" tour

It is with great excitement that Just Say Rock will be bringing Paradise Lost to Australia in early 2010. Having just released their 12th album, Faith Divides Us ? Death Unites Us, the band will be touring in support of their latest opus and thankfully Australia will get to witness the unique blend of gothic / dark wave metal that is Paradise Lost. Furthermore, support will be ably provided by none other than Norwegian band, Sirenia.

Since their conception in 1988, PARADISE LOST have not only founded the genre gothic metal with 1991?s ?Gothic?, but also diligently defined and daringly transcended it. From the crawling, harrowing doom of their debut ?Lost Paradise? (1990) to the electronic sounds of ?One Second? (1997) over to the dark rocking punch of ?Paradise Lost? (2005), the band?s entire career has been accompanied by the desire to evolve and stay ahead of musical trends and fashions. ?Faith Divides Us ? Death Unites Us? easily and proudly continues this successful tradition and clearly points out that PARADISE LOST are one of the few outstanding acts working hard and earning their legendary status by the power of the song.

Norway's Sirenia will be providing support for Paradise Lost, having just released their 4th album The 13th Floor. Playing a unique blend of gothic, symphonic and extreme metal, tied together with the female vocals of Ailyn, Sirenia will no doubt win an army of new fans on their first ever Australian Tour.
Paradise Lost and Sirenia will be hitting our shores in February 2010 so make sure you check out two of the most inventive and unique bands in modern metal!

Melbourne - Friday 5th Feb 2010 @ Billboard The Venue
Sydney - Saturday 6th Feb 2010 @ Metro Theatre
Brisbane - Monday 8th Feb 2010 @ Hi Fi Brisbane

Until Just Say Roflz cans it for some lame reason, that is.

I mean come on, how the fuck could Paradise Lost drum up more support than Destruction?
My hands are choking, my knife is broken.
An orgasm is what I need.
Your blood is spilling, the sight is thrilling.
To cum I need to see you bleed.

Ehhhh I'm not really a PL fan, what are Sirenia like?
[Psychonaut] Sounds like Black Sabbath having rough sex with NWOBHM while 'early' Slayer jerks off in the corner  :cunning:

Would of been good to of seen Sirenia before their drastic genre shift.

Ehhhh I'm not really a PL fan, what are Sirenia like?

First two albums are straight up gothic death metal, nice and heavy with a great use of growls and female vocals. But then they started to use only female vocals and shorten the song lengths for the last two albums. Most people don't seem bothered by it except for me for some reason.
