That was the plan. Put on a killer launch with some good bands and pack that pop venue with hard drinking metalheads, and boom, another reactivated venue. Maybe when the venue owners see the profit in the metal crowd they will be a little more inclined to give the next band a better price, but in Daz's pasty white hands things are improving already on that front.
The trouble is when the Sasquatch and other inferior promoters get their claws into quality venues and kill them off with their poor promotional skills. If we can keep the bookings of such venues in the hands of Daz, Dyson and others who know how to promote properly, then we can keep the clubs happy and eager for more. But ultimately it is up to you and me to show up and make things pop.
