Drum tracks
« on: February 28, 2010, 04:37:23 AM »
Does anyone know where i can get just drum tracks from and not loops. Obviously theres places like backingtracks.com but they all have bass and other crap in there. All i want is a nice variety of tracks from slow mellow stuff to hard fast double kick blast beat blow your head off stuff, and lots of melodic metal beats! I just want them to play guitar along to.

If theres none on the internet i will quite happily buy some of a local drummer.

Ill post on PB's too but i may aswell ask a seven year old.

Hah! Although there are some good drummers on there.

Id offer to help you out but time constraints dont allow for it at the moment.

Nice - and completely unique. Youll never see another one like it, nor could the sound be easily imitated!

How was that abuse?

It is just getting annoying. If someone was to post up something that i could help them with i would most probbaly respond to help them out. But if i wasnt able to do what they wanted or was too busy a simple PM wouldnt hurt.

I know its alot of effort for a drummer to just lay down some tracks to just give away, but alot of people enjoy doing that and alot of poeple love sharing their creations.

Rant had, there was no abuse.......ya fucking cock jockey  ;D :headbang:

Hey, soundofbeast.... learn to program a drum machine and stop complaining.
(really.... then you can write beats that actually fit your guitar ideas rather than having to adapt them to what ever drum tracks you are hoping to get provided with)

Yeh but the only one i have ever used was a boss one way back and i have just had a play around with afew more. I dont know how they are these days but the drum machines that i have always heard just dont sound as realistic. And this bit might be hard to understand but....the ones that do sound bloody close to the real thing its like studio quality and put that together with average quality guitar recordings it doesnt go well at well. And all up drum machines have no feeling or groove. I was never complaining, i just know what i want.

And on a side note, im more then happy to accept things that people have put together from drum machines and loops.

And on another side note, has anyone tried the betamonkeymusic.com loops?

I've never used EZ Drummer Drumkit From Hell for programming, but the drum samples are great and there are many 'pre written' written grooves/blasts and fills for the exact purpose you are wanting them for.  :)

Maybe read a bit more about that program ;-)
