Fear Factory interview

I did my first face-to-face interview a few weeks back, and on video no less. Laugh at me here:

The audio for the first 10 seconds is shockingly bad but it does improve after that. There was a huge fountain in the middle of the hotel lobby so we couldn't use audio off the camera (which is usually really good if there's nothing loud and distracting right behind) so we had to rely on my mic and unfortunately I handled it like a noob. Next time, gadget.

What do people think of the new Fear Factory album?

Hey you did pretty good i thought. Well done.

the album i havent heard, i did just listen to Powershift.....all i can say is, i can definately notice the difference in drumming feel with Gene on the skins, the engineering and production sounds really good.

As for the song itself, its pretty average to me.

There's one point in the video where you can see Dino's eyes following someone walking across the room behind the camera... it was a hot chick
One of my mates desperately wanted me to ask how his porn career was going but i didn't have the guts.

I've been listening to the album a lot and I really like it, I think it's their best stuff since Obsolete. Powershifter is one of the weaker songs I think. Industrial Discipline is kickarse and the last song, Final Exit, is pretty epic.

Theres a couple of songs on Rages Metal Hour. They're pretty good.
