Mustaine AA Documentary
« on: May 19, 2010, 11:57:10 PM »
Found this today on ultimate-guitar.com. I dont know what Aussies have to do with this but ok

Australia's St Kilda Film Festival has chosen Don't Thank Me, Thank AA: The Dave Mustaine Story, for this year's event, scheduled to run from May 26th-30th.
The film about Megadeth's famed frontman will make its world premier at 9:45 PM - 11:30 PM on Saturday, May 29th at the Palace George Cinemas in St Kilda, Melbourne.

A press release on the film reads:
"Dave Mustaine was a heavily beaten child who grew up to be a raging drug addict and the greatest heavy metal guitarist in the world. These days, Dave finds peace via a combination of yoga, Christianity and taekwondo. Don?t Thank Me, Thank AA: The Dave Mustaine Story examines the genesis of Mustaine?s greatness, as percieved by drunk people on the street, and the nature of his inner hell and direct phone-line to God, as revealed in an intimate backstage conversation."

The documentary is by Mia Timpano, produced with the assistance of Renegade Productions. Key still by Jana Blomqvist.

Sound interesting.

Mustaine must've typed up that blurb himself  :err:

I loved early Megadeth stuff, but I don't think I could sit through another sob-storywith Dave Mustaine complaining (still) about how hard he has it and how he still wishes he was in Metallica.

Anyone who wishes they were in Metallica is a bigger fuckwit than we as humans could ever possibly comprehend.
My hands are choking, my knife is broken.
An orgasm is what I need.
Your blood is spilling, the sight is thrilling.
To cum I need to see you bleed.

ahaha, I know... for fucks sake man, get over it. Its not like his band hasnt been successful or anything... Someone like Ron McGoveney might have something to complain about, but Megadeth is still considered in the "Big 4" so Dave hasnt done that badly for himself.

I can either afford tickets, or a gun, not both.
