I saw Dennis typing stuff about this tour very early this year. I'm really bummed they're not coming to Perth... Have to book more flights now.

I can think of a fair few hardcore Macabre fans in Perth, too.

Just got back from this today.

I'd love to go into great detail, but I know none of you care.

Suffice to say we rocked up early and got to hang out with the three guys for a couple of hours. Got a bunch of shit signed, chatted to them about everything I could think of and even got hugs after the show, how sweet.

For any of you on my Facebook, you'd know it was the greatest day of my life bar none. I also lost count of the amount of times I ejaculated. Discretely.

For those who didn't go and do care... Corporate Death and Dennis The Menace both said their promoter told them Perth didn't have a big enough scene to warrant travelling here. But if they get back here next year as they plan to, we're now on the list, as we corrected their obvious mistake.

Possibly my longest post ever.

It's a great scene here!
But I don't think Macabre would pull the 2000 i'd expect them to....
Great thing you got to hang with em.
Definately one of the best metal bands to emerge from this planet in the past 20 years i'd say. No exaggeration.

What I don't get is how they figure Perth doesn't have a big enough scene to warrant them coming here but that Adelaide does??

Did you hang out with my mate Hendo from Perth? He had glasses on and would've been trashed in a trashy way.

I believe I did hang out with him briefly yes.

For the record I think the crowd was 200-250 or thereabouts, and it was a pretty fucking small venue. In reality though there would have only been 20-30 "hardcore" fans who actually knew their back catalogue. They played a really varied set, stuff from Grim Reality and Shitlist all the way through to 2 new songs not released yet.

Anyway my point is, we'd get the same amount of people here easy and I dare say we'd treat them better in the mixing department than this venue did.

Louis: No arguments from me! I can't believe how underrated they are. It was actually something I asked them about and they said they didn't really understand it either, that maybe they're a bit too "silly", but it's still amazing music. I don't think they really mind their lack of popularity anyway.
