2 weeks on/1 week off isnt really losing a drummer mate.
its not like you cant still write songs/program drums and communitcate over the net/computers and actually use the time when hes back to rehearse, booking shows around that.
it would be just a shame to not give his new working arrangement a go, prior to parting ways...seeing as committed (and talented) drummers don't usually pop up too often.
