Deathspell Omega's Si Monumentum Requires Circumspce

Fuck yeah. What an amazing album.

I have decided to get this album and am now listening to it for the first time. Who would of thought the French would be able to produce such good metal ?   Because of Blut Aus Nord and Deathspell Omega, it is time I think to search the countryside of France for more :P

One is German and the other is Japanese?  ???

Or do you mean that they are simular in nature to the aforementioned bands?

Regardless of nationality, I'll give them a listen anyway!

Haha..it shows that I don't know European geography at all. Nyarlathotep is from Spain. They are an acquired taste to say the least.

Not completely metal but Deftones - White Pony is the ultimate record in my opinion.
It's one of the first albums that got me into heavy music and to this day still blows my mind.

I think The Justice album really got me interested in the whole shebang. I just love the rawness of it, so wrong yet so right.
I quiclky move on to Seps, Anthrax, Preist, Maiden.............SYL.

Gorgasm or die.

I downloaded Gorgasm - Stabwound Intercourse based on name alone when I was 13 and I've never looked back.
My hands are choking, my knife is broken.
An orgasm is what I need.
Your blood is spilling, the sight is thrilling.
To cum I need to see you bleed.

I found myself listening to Machine Head's "Burn my Eyes" again tonight and realised that it would HAVE to be the album I have listened to more than any other.  After 16 years it is still one of the best I have ever heard.

I tried to find the "Like" button but it was nowhere to be seen!

I like the Ted Bundy movie sound clip in one of the songs on that album, "FUCK. YOU. BITCH. FUCK. YOU. BITCH.", from when he's bangin' his friendly, wholesome girlfriend while she plays dead.
