Now that would be cool. I've not looked into teleportation lately, but last I heard they'd managed to "teleport" a small laser beam.

Conspiracy theories can be great fun to read about, even talk about... as long as you can work out whether the person telling you about it is serious or not.

Yeah. While most of the theories are easily debunked, there are always a few which we might never really know about.... until MythBusters do an episode on them. I recently saw the episode they did about various theories around the moon landing.

ooh i wrote one in a drunken state once:

Okay. There's this chick who works for NASA.

she looks after the monkeys there.

Names one 'God' because she's religious,

The monkey is a pregnant female.

NASA says they want to see what space does to pregnancy or something and sends the monkey into space...

but,

the shuttle drifts into a black hole

the hole takes her to an alternate universe that's empty and it multiplies her intelligence by hundreds n thousands and awakens that other percentage of the brain that we apparently don't use.

so to kill time, the monkey decides to make a planet ! clicks her fingers.. *BANG*

then populates it with animals, and makes monkeys the highest species. in her image.

but the bang that was her making the planet sets off evolution

and the monkeys evolve into people. and these people invent religion. And she saw that it was bad.

so to straighten em out the monkey, God, sends her baby, 'Jesus' to tell them to go away n leave the monkeys as rulers of the planet but Jesus evolves and is brainwashed into religion

then the people kill Jesus the monkey boy for being too good at their religion

that pisses monkey off , She punches a hole in the wall and leaves.

then the people decide to explore space n send a monkey who drifts into a black hole that monkey god made when she punched the wall in anger over the people...

a monkey called god.

-Wednesday.

One of my mates told another mate he heard the Australian government was planning to blow the cap off the the volcano in South Australia. He hates the government so of course he believed it outright. A few weeks later he nearly got into a punch-up at the pub because he told another guy who refused to believe him.

Zeitgeist - The Movie is the best I've seen, a little bit hippy in places but it makes sense. Money is debt and debt is money.

i like the one about the fact that there is no flight numbers for the plains that hit the world trade center and there is no mention of any names of the people that would have been on the plains on the memorial walls at ground zero.

ok here we go

- we're living in the 1700's since the supposed birth of christ (300 years' worth of historical forgery on the books)
- Islam was a heretical version of christianity which is why muslims and christians do not see eye to eye historically - each trying to distance themselves from the other
- 9/11, pearl harbour, kennedy assasination, etc are inside jobs
- the government is trying to kill you vial fluridation, microwaves, soy, decaf, etc etc
- UFOs are real and there is a secret conflict between world governments and aliens
- there is a secret nuclear war going on using small-scale devices "suitcase bombs", the bali bombing being one of them
- chemtrails
- NWO - the government is trying to kill you
- Port Arthur was black ops to enforce gun control in Australia
- lazer pointers were banned not because they were a danger to planes but because 1000 individuals pointing a laser onto a politician in public could actually burn them
- nasa did go to the moon, but had to fake al of the publicity because of what they saw there
- cold fusion, low-power warm fusion, etc being suppressed
- jews are not an ethnicity in that the entire thing is made up in the middle ages
- there is no such thing as al-quida
- osama bin laden has been dead since late 2001
CIA is responsible for the situation in Iran right now
-etc etc

The Egyptian pyramids are actually resonant 'tractor beams' built by aliens to keep the Moon (originally a piece of the Earth) in its syncronos orbit of our planet ...

Osama bin Laden is alive and well in Iran, he's being hidden by the Revolutionary Guard. (Possible, some of his children have been spotted there).

The current war in Afghanistan is an attempt to destabilize Russia by flooding their streets with cheap heroin. (What some Russians believe, probably not true but opium production has skyrocketed since the US invaded and even President Karzias own brother is supposedly a major opium exporter).

The Afghan national army and police regularly rape little boys and foreign soldiers who report about this to their superiors are ordered to look the other way. (True, returning canadian soldiers talked to the media but because they are our "allies" no one does shit about it).

Operation Gladius - a secret NATO organisation set up in the 1950's to resist soviet occupation if war broke out and the massive Red Army invaded Western Europe. In Italy they got out of control and started to carry out terrorist attacks against their own people to influence public opinion against the Italian Communist party. True story - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gladio_in_Italy

Jack the ripper was a member of the royal family, the palace derailed any investigation that got close to the truth.

There is indeed a theory that Jack was royalty, but it's bullshit. Not that I'm claiming I know which of the 10+ plausible suspects was him, just that the Royals theory is pretty much the worst. Except maybe Patricia Cornwell's theory she spent millions on fabricating.

1. John Lennon was really murdered by the U.S. Government. Lennon was involved in politics and he was making a few senators nervous.
Mark Chapman was drugged or Hypnotised to carry out the assasination. Chapman was then to be made the scape goat.

2. Elvis is still alive. He is a high ranking military officer.
