Actually...that's not too bad a price - for some reason I thought it was in excess of $1k.  Yeah, sounds awesome, and that wordbuilder thing looks to be an awesome tool!

was very bad and bought the symphonic choirs vst.
Sounds just awseome for what i need.

checked out some others there too but might be going a bit over board with other instruments me thinks. This is afterall metal im doing here but could be fun to fuck with in the future maybe. bit of experimentation.

the sympo choirs is excellent, thought i would let anyone that wants to know, know.
recommened for sure, pricey, yep.
If you know how to play kick ass keys then its worth it, especially with wordbuilder, you can make them say, "Fuck yoo cant"
Thats all i wanted it for. :D

I picked up a retro pack yesterday at Kosmic. 3 different vintage synths and a mellotron. I noyl got it for the mellotron though. As I already have another synth VST. By the way has anyone seen the Hammond Organ/ Leslie cabinet setup at Kosmic? It's awesome.

Good purchase choice Goat. EWSC is a fucking awesome product, been using it for a while now. Sounds absolutely amazing when you've got dedicated tracks for Bass, Tenor, Alto, and Sopranos using the Word Builder creatively.

Consider taking a look at Vienna Symphonic Choirs - Vienna Choir in the future. I find the samples themselves to be of a notably higher quality than EWSC - they're only limited to ah's and oo's, but I rarely find myself using anything beyond the two for metal tracks. I'd definitely reccomend looking into it if you start getting further into orchestral/choral composition.

Eastwest has by far the best choirs/orchestras i have ever used.
On our myspace all of our songs pretty much use choirs but i guess "The Overseer" towards the centre shows them off quite a bit.

That's the choirs with some compression to boost the levels up and make it sound kinda big

My band's myspace: http://www.myspace.com/morningstarAD
There's a reverbnation player there that plays automatically i recommend listening through that one as the myspace player's encoding is absolute shit!

Yeah, I have it, but I haven't been able to use it yet... it'll have to wait until I have studio gear and the time to fuck around... have heaps of EWQL software.
I must slumber, per se.

You work for Kosmic don't you? How about a mutually beneficial swap... you give me some studio gear, I set you up with EWQL software. ;D
I must slumber, per se.

Haha. Why am I not suprised. ;D Don't really need anymore VST's myself. In fact I've been screwing around with  the M-Audio: M-Tron, MiniMonsta and Arturia Jupiter 8-V vsti's. Along with Podfarm and the results are Awesome.

you can never have enough Vst's, the object of the game is to load so many of them on yer computer you cant even use it anymore.
So yeah, about 4 vts at once, that outta do it.

Sorry to drag up an old thread. But Deon have You checked this out?
http://www.ikmultimedia.com/Main.html?MainPage.php These have pretty decent sounds and I think they are reasonably priced. I have sample tank already cos It's included in the V machine I picked up.

Also try having a looks at the Mellotron VST's.
