this is from the limited bands I have seen so far this year:

1. Khariot (Thoroughly entertained me when I saw them!)
2. Bend The Sky (supremely tight! Best atmospheric, math/djent instrumental metal in Perth!)
3. Cold Fate (Blew me away, quality local thrash!)
- Best Local Release
1. Khariot - 'Disymposium' ('cause I love progressive death!)
2. Mhorgl - 'Antinomian' (again 'cause it's tight, and pretty groovy for black metal!
)
3. Point Breakdown - live to get rad! (entertainment factor and production value are both high!)
- Best Local Guitarist
1. Cam Nicholas from Cold Fate (Phenomenal lead guitarist!)
2. Liam from Devour the Martyr (good tight player)
3. tie for Damo & Andy from Blunt Force (for owning some of the coolest guitars!)
- Best Local Drummer
1. Louis from Mhorgl (like a machine!)
2. Nazzy D from Blunt Force trauma (great facial expressions!)
3a. Seth Keegan - From Isolation (this is not a self plug, I really feel Seth has pulled his weight and worked really hard to get where he has this year!)
3b. Blake from Bend the Sky (keeps the band nice and tight with the all those samples live, and doesn't even play to a click!)*in-case my nomination for Seth doesn't count.

1. Bass player from Khariot (stood out front of stage and just pummeled away when I saw them!)
2. Stumpy from Blunt Force Trauma (wouldn't want to argue with this guy!

3. Moose - From Isolation ( again he has done a lot of work this year to get to where he has!)
- Best Local Vocalist
1. Matt Ellis - Devour the Martyr ( He sounds awesome on their new EP!)
2. Stu from Blunt Force Trauma ( Deserves a nom for all his hard work!)
3. Matt - From Isolation ( He still blows my mind every time he lets roar from his throat!)
- Best Local Keyboardist
1. Jezza from Neverborn (he's the only one I know!)
