Saw some Obama clip on the news where he said - to all the people questioning as to why we shot an unarmed person in the head, you ask the victims of 9/11 whether it was right, blah blah.. fear mongering jibberish.. followed by "anyone who thinks we should've dealt with him in any other way has got rocks in their head."

The more I look into it, the more I'm convinced that Osama Bin Laden had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11.

I saw the report of him categorically denying any involvement in the attacks after 9/11. The only supposed 'evidence' the US ever had of him being involved was a so-called admission on a 2004 'found' secret tape (funny how they just leave secret tapes lying around for the US to find).

On this tape is some guy pretending to be Osama but failing miserably. He looks different, is wearing jewellery, writing with his right hand (Osama was a lefty) and talking about the twin towers' architecture in ways an engineer would not (Osama was well-educated in building construction)
Sadly, the US still uses this bogus video as proof of his guilt. If we remove the video as evidence, there is officially no reports of his admission - Ever, just as there has never been any proof of his involvement, just suspicion.

Don't get me wrong, the guy was no friend of the US (later), but the US had nothing on him and probably never will have - which is why it was better to shoot him between the eyes than capture him and bring him to trial (assuming they even HAD him to begin with)

He was simply another scapegoat the US utilized and supported for a while, then screwed over to generate support for ulterior motives.

Yeah, you can't breathe politics 24\7 but to be fair these discussions are coming up anywhere that someone has any self thought and isn't open to being sold 'lies' by the the media. Not just WF. When there is enough people (or the right people) that care to change the situation then change will come. It has to affect these people first for them to first communicate the issue to others and then take action.

Authorities have become paranoid about a threat that has become so overhyped since 9/11.

Just yesterday, some pissed off Dad scales Sydney Harbour bridge to complain that his kids aren't getting looked after - and all the authorities were worried about was how much it hilighted "how prone Sydney is to terror attacks". ffs.
