Impending Extinction. Feat: Population Control (FINAL SHOW)

Lucy’s Love Shack and Cold Fate invite you to a celebration of Perth Heavy music.
Just $10 entry gives you five monstrous local bands.
Grind, Thrash, Doom, Black and Death Metal are all on show this night. All bases covered for fans of hard hitting, heavy music.
This will also be local legends Population Control’s final ever show. Let’s all make sure we give this raucous band the sending off they deserve.
Capacity is limited so get it in early to avoid missing out.
Opening the show at 7:20pm will be CRYPT CRAWLER. An up and coming Death Metal act with a taste for the murky, old school Death Metal sound, while remaining very much in touch with the polished present.
Next up will be the legendary FUROR. Now a one man Black Metal army, Louis Rando has been hellbound, bringing his pummelling blast-beat drums and Furor’s Black Metal savagery back, to the metalheads of Perth.
From a one man band to the heaviest two piece in existence. Its hard to remember just drums and bass sounding this humongous. Like a concrete slab to the face OHM RUNE’s excellent brand of Stoner Doom Rock is colossal and will have your body moving and your head banging.
Thrash Metallers COLD FATE are next to kick up the pace with their first show in over a year. Influenced by the ’80s Thrash and Heavy Metal icons as well as the technical efficiency of Progressive Metal. Full of razor sharp riffs, pounding rhythms and sensationally shredding solos, COLD FATE attack with aggression and precision.
Finally, the headliner, Grind maniacs POPULATION CONTROL are calling it a day. This five piece have gained a loyal and ever increasing following since first unleashing their wave of Grindcore upon the people of Perth. Throwing the best of Hardcore Punk, Crust and Death Metal into the mix, POPULATION CONTROL’s hammering, intensity is the perfect way to end the night’s festivities, one final time.
