On the last Saturday of every month since August 2018, Perth metalheads have swarmed to a little event called HORNOGRAPHY. A home base and safehaven for likeminded metalheads to gather and celebrate a scene that we all love.

This is not just any ordinary gig. Every month there have been fresh lineups, drink specials, metal DJ’s, photographer, projector screen, giveaways, promotions and theme nights. After every event there is action online with photos on the socials, monthly mailouts, competitions, local metal promo, and before we know it the next month is around again.

5 years later and passionate Perth metalheads have embraced HORNOGRAPHY as their very own. It has continued to flourish thanks to the punters, bands, photographer, venues, media, sponsors and a myriad of legends who have kept it alive!

Not only is this August’s event a 5th Birthday Bash, but it is also a send off for HORNOGRAPHY founders Dysie & Cabba, who are handing over the reigns! After a 5 year slog it is time for a changing of the guard, and local metal stalwart Andrew Massie will be taking charge to make sure HORNOGRAPHY lives on!

To make the most of this momentous occasion, we are throwing together a belter of an event packed to the brim with a big lineup, extra MC banter, and an abundance of metal giveaways with loot being passed around all night!

If you haven’t attended a show in a while, this is the one to go to. It would mean the world to Dysie and Cabba to see you all there and share a beer to celebrate the past and future of HORNOGRAPHY!

CRYPT CRAWLER
The unstoppable death metal force that is CRYPT CRAWLER will descend upon Hornography with new cassettes and shirts in hand. Recently playing a run of interstate shows, and currently recording album number 3, these guys are in rip roaring form and will close out the night in brutal style.

VANADIUM BC
Legends of the old and the new, VANADIUM are treating Hornography punters to a sick set a few months before celebrating their 30 year anniversary as a band! Get ready to thrash along to these classic tunes.

THE FUROR
The undisputed king of Perth extreme metal and everyone’s favourite one-man death/black assassin, THE FUROR is on board to decimate Hornography! With the 7th album recently released and more on the way, this unstoppable force will crush us all into oblivion.

TOM THUMB
Well dressed and oozing with class, but with minds in the gutter whilst they deliver terrorizing death/grind, TOM THUMB will be having a bash, and also performing, a selection of tunes from their Licence To Spill album as well as some new stuff which is cumming soon. Laugh it up at the samples then slam it out to the metal.

VILE MUTILATION
Death metal maniacs VILE MUTILATION bring their classic brand of heaviness to Hornography! Smashing skulls through Perth shows for over a year now, this hectic extreme metal machine is here to destroy again!

BILE CANNON
Debut show for this brand spanking act – BILE CANNON! Bringing a thrashy grind flavour and featuring some decrepit legends of the scene, this is bound to be one of the best opening acts since Hornography’s inception.

SHADOW WORLD PHOTOGRAPHY
She’s been there from the start, and she’ll continue to snap killer pics of the bands and punters. MISTY SHADOW will be in the house so get your ugly mug captured in local metal history.
