Metal: A Headbanger’s Journey is a story of a 30-year old anthropologist Sam Dunn who studied the plight of a different culture – heavy metal. Exploring metal’s obsession with religion, violence and death, the film looks at why metal is widely condemned but also passionately loved. A look into a long misunderstood art-form.

Featuring: Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, Slayer, Motorhead, Rush, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden.
